The addition of the higher horsepower all-stainless steel motors provides customers in the food and beverage, car wash, and mixer industries with greater options in moisture-resistant, high-temperature production. LEESON’s broad range of stainless motors offers reliable solutions for any demanding washdown application. LEESON Electric’s SST Motors, including the new HHP 180T-210T and 250T-280T frames, are manufactured with 300 Series Stainless Steel exterior components in the base, endshields, shaft extension, fan guard, and all hardware. The 180T-210T HHP SST motors are available as stock in 3 to 10 HP, include a three-year warranty, and feature repositioned drain plugs for all angle mounting configurations. The all-stainless HHP motors deliver the following outstanding features and benefits:
- Laser-etched, full-fact steel nameplate on the motor frame
- Anti-corrosion coating applied to the rotor and heavy polyester varnish on the stator
- Double-sealed bearings with moisture-resistant, high-temperature lubricant
- Moisture-resistant sealant between the frame and endshields
- Four condensate drains in each endshield (at three, six, nine and twelve o’clock) to purge condensation and water that may enter the motor
